One day this week Gavin pointed to Marley's tail and said it was her penis. Thought you would enjoy the laugh we had ;) (Of course, we corrected him and told him Marley was a girl and that was her tail!)

Valentines day
Gavin was excited to bring valentines gift bags to his friends on Thursday (the last day of the work week - furloughs) and it seems like they were also busy there creating valentines for their families.
Sporting his valentine's day shirt
A group shot for every holiday ;)
This is the valentine Gavin brought home on Thursday. He was so proud to show me how he made the heart with each side of his fist. As a Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade teacher, I would always have my students make crafts for their parents, but never realized how much those crafts probably meant to them...until now.
Playing outside
Now that the three younger kids have gotten big enough to walk around easily, Claudia is able to take the kids outside in the afternoons to play. Gavin usually ends up crying when it is time to go home because he loves playing in the cars and tricycles (motorcycles as he calls them). Here are a few shots Claudia took this past week while they were outside playing.
January-February daycare pictures
Claudia is so good about taking pictures of the kids during the week and then giving each of the families a thumb drive at the end of the week with the pictures. I really look forward to seeing the week's pictures just to see what Gavin does during the week. I haven't posted any of her photos in a few weeks, so I've added quite a few here...
Playing with blocks - notice Gavin doesn't wear pants during the day....still trying to potty train and it is easier to only have 1 layer of clothes ;)
Puzzles - something he enjoys doing at home too.
Tracing his hand during "school time"
The kids' version of hide and seek - Hide and run and scream
Wearing his raincoat from Mamaw
This is a choo-choo train (I'm sure you could tell that anyway ;)
He likes to wear his hair like this - calls it "stegasaurus hair"
Playing doctor with Brooke - looks like they are both getting their temperature taken.
No, this isn't how they nap...pretending to camp I think.
A cold morning in Hawaii calls for big furry slippers.
Group hug- Brooke, Kailee, and Gavin
School time
Claudia really takes great pictures
Such long, beautiful eyelashes
Abby joined the group one day - all the kids argued over whose "baby" she was.

Eating Cereal
Gavin loves eating cereal from my bowl every morning, so I thought it was time for him to try his own. He did a great job eating the cereal without spilling too much milk on himself. I grabbed the camera at the very end just as I showed him how to turn the bowl up to drink the last of the milk and cereal...this was one of those times I caught what happened on tape ;)
The Honolulu Zoo
Although Gavin has been to the Honolulu Zoo before when he was little, this was our first time to take him - so it was his first time in our eyes ;) He loves naming the animals and had a blast running around the very uncrowded zoo with Brooke.
Petting a goat in the Keiki Zoo
The Weida family joined us for the day
Gavin and Brooke looking at the Giant Tortoises
Two little monkeys ;)
