A week after we got home from our California trip, we packed up for a week long stay-cation on the North Shore with Grandpa and Grandma Betsy. The house was a quintessential Hawaiian beach house, nothing fancy but lots of charm. Once we stepped foot on the property we knew we wouldn't be leaving unless necessary, and we literally left the house twice (once for shaved ice and once for a shrimp plate) throughout the entire week. We spent our days playing and relaxing. It was wonderful! On our last night there, we invited friends up to enjoy this little piece of paradise with us. What a great week for all of us!

This was the perfect spot for afternoon reading.

Mark surfed nearly every morning

Dylan discovered a new love for shell hunting. He collected a big bag of shells and coral throughout the week.

After our week on the North Shore, we had a few days in Honolulu before Steve and Betsy flew home. We tried out a new restaurant- Cafe Julia, which was so wonderful. It gave us the perfect opportunity to take a family photo in something other than a bathing suit ;) Great to spend time with family! XOXO
