We made our annual trek to the East Coast this summer to visit family and friends spanning from Boston to Virginia to Tennessee to Florida (and an overnight stop in Mississippi). These trips are always busy but we try to fit in visiting as many people as possible in our trip since we live so far away.
This year, we went for 3 1/2 weeks and our first stop was in Northern Virginia for Steve and Betsy's wedding.

| Since we stayed in Winchester, VA where Mike and Shelley now live they were able to take us to some kid-friendly places. Dinosaur Land was interesting to say the least...kind of like something out of Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. |

| After D-Land we went to the downtown area of Winchester for lunch. They had a splash pad there so we let the boys play (Fully clothed as you can see, except for underwear which we had them take off so they could have something dry to wear on the ride home). |

| One of their themes here was Apples, so Dylan learned all about how apples are picked and harvested. |

| As the wedding approached, we all moved to Manasas in this rental home on the Robert Trent Jones Golf course. The house had 9 bedrooms, so the entire family (including Betsy's two kids) stayed here for a few nights. |

| I wasn't able to get many photos on the wedding day because it was rather chaotic in the house with everyone there. The photographer took many, so I'll wait to post more when I get some from her. |

We had a great time in Virginia celebrating Steve and Betsy while spending so much quality time with family! The next leg of our adventure was a week in Florida with Joan and Blue. We drove down to Tennessee to my parent's house to break up the trip and then made the drive down to Destin, FL. More pictures to come....
