We finally got around to carving our pumpkins we picked from the pumpkin patch...about 5 days before Halloween. (Although with the heat here, the pumpkin looked more like a zombie by the time Halloween got here...they just don't hold up well in the 80 degree heat). But, it is the carving that is fun anyway!

Gavin watching Daddy - I tried to get him to help me clean out the seeds, but he wanted no parts of those slimy things! He was content watching Mark make "triangles" in the pumpkin though.
Last Monday, we had Jenn and Makaela over for dinner and I baked cookies for Gavin and Makaela to decorate. They only got around to decorating a few (probably b/c they were too busy eating sprinkles from the container!) When Gavin got home from school on Tuesday, he finished decorating the rest.
This cookie is screaming sugar-high!
