We did our part to help make this island a little better for earth day this year by participating in a beach clean up with the Kokua Hawaii Foundation. They had stations at several windward beaches, so we chose our favorite...Kalama Beach Park. They boys were really into sifting for microplastic for about 10 to 15 minutes and were then ready to play. In all, we spent about 2 hours playing and cleaning up the beach before heading over to Sea Life Park, where beach clean up participants could enter for $5.00. Oh, and along the way we stopped for some fish tacos in Waimanalo...a great day livin in Hawaii!!!

| We had to teach the boys the difference between rocks and coral from the microplastic and other rubbish. |

| The cool kids' club |
| They had tents with games for the kids set up at Sea Life Park |
| Gavin took about 30 minutes to tediously color this hammerhead shark mask. |
| Dylan took about 30 seconds to color on his and then asked me to finish it for him :) |
| We missed the dolphin show (due to our hunt for the perfect fish taco truck), but the kids had fun seeing all the other sites. |
