Our Gavin is really growing up fast! In this past year, he went from a toddler to a little boy. He went from watching Diego and Dora to Spiderman and Superman. He loves to pretend that he is a superhero and jump, run, and "fly" around the house. I am really starting to get a glimpse of life with boys because he likes to wrestle around on the floor and prefers physical play over playing with toys.
This past week was a milestone in his "growing up"- we got him a twin sized bed and took down his toddler bed/crib. He loves his new bed and he loves being a "big boy"!

The video above are two short clips of Gavin recently. In the first clip he is reading a wordless-picture book that we often read at bedtime, Good Dog Carl - it is about a dog that is babysitting a baby and all the trouble/adventures they get into. When Gavin and I read it (make up the words to go with the picture) we name the dog Marley and the baby Dylan. He is reading this book in the video.
The second clip is of Gavin showing off his wrestling moves. He will begin going to freestyle practice this upcoming week with Mark. There will be about four 3-year olds there, so looks like his wrestling practice days have begun ;)
