Dylan got to experience his first concert a few weeks back - and the best part was that it was right on the beach and it was free! A Fortune 500 company (Fast Enterprises) hosted a Hawaiian vacation for it's employees at KoOlina (guessing morale in that company is quite a bit higher than my fellow teachers here in Hawaii who are being furloughed...aka paycuts for the 4th year in a row!)
Lucky for us, we didn't have to work for the company to reap the benefits of a concert they had on the beach of KoOlina. The band was Lighthouse (I didn't recognize the name, but recognized nearly every song they sang). At the end of the concert, they had a surprise firework show that was amazing! It made for a great (and free) evening of entertainment for us! Just another time we thought...Lucky we live Hawaii!
