This year, I got to celebrate Mother's day two times....once at a luncheon at Gavin's school and once on Mother's day.
Gavin's preschool hosts a Mother's Day luncheon every year, where Mom's come and have the opportunity to make a craft with their children and then have lunch together. I can't imagine a better way to celebrate Mother's day than having lunch with my young man. Our craft this year was to decorate the inner sleeve to personalize a travel mug. Then we all went out to the playground for a bit before having lunch. What a NICE day :)
On the actual day, my boys were so good to me :) (all three of them!). Mark made us a quick breakfast and I got some of the best gifts any momma could ask for (a hand-made card, picture frame from Dylan, coffee mug from Gavin, and a new purse from Mark). Then we packed up and went to the Martin's pool for an afternoon of lounging in the sun and playing at the pool. It was perfect!
