Kindergarten Gingerbread House Activity

It is a tradition at Mauka Lani Elementary School for the Kindergarten class to have a gingerbread house decorating parent activity before school gets out for the Christmas break. I was able to go to Gavin's because it was held on a Friday morning and luckily my faculty meeting that day was postponed until January.  Gavin and I decorated the house on December 7 and that little house lasted about a week proudly sitting on the buffet table in the dining room until Marley decided to EAT IT while we went out this past Saturday! All that was left was a well-licked milk carton and the plate that once held the house.  Marley proved she still has some spunk (aka rascal-ness) left in her old-lady years!

Gavin put skittles on his house because he said the "S" on them stands for "snakes that are inside the house"  - ha!
