We spent Christmas Eve with our friends here in Hawaii - the Weida family and the Jones family. The Jones hosted a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner, complete with fun activities for the kids and reading of
The Night Before Christmas before we all went our separate ways to wait for Santa to come! I've said it many times before, but I really am thankful for the friends and their families that we have here because it makes being away from our own families a little easier.

| Kristen had everything very organized and the kids had their own little area to eat and for crafts. She had a sign "Little Elves Workshop" with all of their names written on the Christmas tree decorations. So. very. cute! Here are the little elves eating dinner. Having them eat first gave the adults about a 5 minute window to try and eat also before they started getting up saying they were done. The 5 minutes were great :) |
| After dinner, the little elves made snowmen crafts and decorated cookies for Santa. Dylan took the opportunity during both of these times that all the kids were occupied to play with the toys since he had them all to his self. |

| We had to throw a silly shot in there to get the kids to smile for the "real" picture |
| Gavin took the time to write Santa a "thank you" letter earlier in the day. Santa really appreciated it I'm sure and will cherish it forever! :) |
| The goods left out for Santa...reindeer food, a thank you letter, and milk and cookies. |
