Our summer travels are something to look forward to each year and the time flies when we are there. While it gets tiring from all the travel we do in such a short period of time, it is well worth it to reconnect with family and friends while also letting our boys learn about different areas of the country. As much as we love to travel, we certainly love coming home from our vacations!
This year, we were able to travel ALL on miles (even our trip to Boston) but that meant that we traveled on different airlines and on different days. It wasn't ideal, but it saved us nearly $4000. Mark and Dylan left HI a few days before Gavin and I and then they also arrived home a day before us. Both boys are just awesome travelers (they've been doing these 10 hour flights since the time they were 3 months old).
