To even write that Dylan is now 4 amazes me at how time flies. We no longer have a baby and toddler, we have two little boys. At his 4 year old check up, Dylan weighed 36 pounds and 8 oz and stood at 3 feet, 5 inches. He's a quickly growing boy!
Dylan's teachers always praise him for being mature and well behaved in school. The sandbox and playground are some his favorite things to do at school. He always asks for a healthy lunch (broccoli and apples) because he wants to win the healthy lunch "gold star" as often as he can. He loves to sing songs he learned at school and adores Gavin. If I had to describe Dylan with one word, it would be
passionate. He is usually really happy, but watch out if he gets frustrated :) He is fiercely independent- trying to do everything on his own and he still has a smile that can melt your heart :)
We celebrated Dylan's birthday at the Living Art Marine Center. I've come to appreciate the simplicity of having a party somewhere other than at home - all we had to do was bring food and goodies...they took care of the rest. The kids got to create mini-aquariums, print marine themed T-shirts, and learn all about marine life.
